Application Insights is the application performance monitoring (APM) feature of Azure Monitor. It collects requests, dependencies, exceptions, traces and custom telemetry from applications, stores it in a Log Analytics workspace, and provides the application map, transaction search, live metrics, availability tests and usage analytics on top.
